The second pipeline project of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project is China's first large-scale pipeline project to import overseas natural gas resources. The second pipeline project will be constructed in two parts: east part and west part. The west part includes the Khorgos-Zhongwei trunk line and the Zhongwei-Jingbian line, passing through Xinjiang and Ningxia Autonomous Regions, Gansu and Shaanxi provinces. The pipeline's total length is 2788.23 kilometers, pipe diameter of φ1016/1219 mm and pressure of 10/12 MPa.
