On June 25, the daily production and daily export of commodity gas from the wellhead of Shanxi Qinshui coal-bed gas field of Huabei Oilfield Company exceeded 5.5 million cubic meters, with an annual surface extraction capacity of more than 2 billion cubic meters, building largest coalbed gas field in China.

Supported by new development theories and technologies, the production rate of new drilling in Qinshui Basin of Huabei Oilfield has reached 100%, the proportion of wells of 10 thousand cubic meters of horizontal wells has reached more than 45%, and gas field production has entered the fast lane of production growth.

At present, the coal-bed gas of Huabei Oilfield is mainly sold to Shanxi, Henan and Beijing Tianjin Hebei regions, which is of great significance to stabilize the winter supply and air pollution prevention in and around North China. It can replace more than 1 million tons of raw coal per year.
